What is coronavirus? Know how to spread, and how to prevent it?



  • After Japan and Thailand, the deadly coronavirus in China has spread to the US. After developing coronavirus in China, its havoc is now seen in the US as well. The US Department of Health has confirmed the development of this new virus. The department has reported that the virus has been found in a 30-year-old man near Washington.



First of all, know what is corona virus?

What is CORONAVIRUS.

The name Coronavirus is derived from corona which means crown like structure. The virus enters the host's body through the mouth, ears, nose and even the eyes and affects the respiratory system. The symptoms are: dry throat, cough, sneezing, muscle cramps, shortness of breath, high fever and kidney failure can be fatal.

Coronovirus is a large group of viruses that are common in animals. In rare cases, they are those that scientists call zoonotic, meaning they can be transmitted from animals to humans.
Viruses can make people sick, usually with a mild to moderate respiratory tract disease similar to a common cold.


Symptoms of this virus.


  1. runny nose.
  2. headache.
  3. cough.
  4. sore throat.
  5. fever. 
  6. feeling of being unwell.


How does it spread?

Human corona virus is usually spread from one infected person to another in the following ways;

1 : Air from coughing and sneezing.


2 : Close personal contact, such as touching or moving the hand.

3 : Touching an object or surface with the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes before washing the hands.

4 :And rarely, even from fecal contamination.


Prevention of this.

There are no vaccines to protect against human coronavirus infection. Infection is reduced by;

1 : washing your hands often with soap and water.

2 : Avoid touching the eyes, nose or mouth with unintentional hands.

3 : Avoid close contact with people who are ill.

4 : If you are mildly ill, keep yourself hydrated, stay at home and relax.

If you are concerned about your symptoms, then you should show your health to the doctor.
